Flavour Alchemist started in Wokingham, UK to realise the dream of its driving force and founder, Luciana Carneiro: to make delicious, healthy food available to people who appreciate fine cuisine.
Luciana is a brazilian entrepreneur and chef with some rare talents:
- She is able to list the ingredients in a dish just by tasting it.
- She can tell if a restaurant’s kitchen is clean by tasting the food.
- She has an innate understanding of how to mix flavours and textures to create delicious traditional or original dishes every time.
Our first product is our perfect Cheesebread, using a recipe that originated in Brazil but now comes in many forms and Luciana’s variant has a satisfying crispy crust with a soft fluffy inside.
We are now operating in West Wales near the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion border.
Wheat And Gluten
Throughout our operation and as reflected on this site you will see that we avoid the use of wheat and products that contain gluten.

However, we’re generally not trying to recreate traditional wheat-based foods using alternative flours (for example, gluten-free bread). These are always disappointing and take the joy out of both cooking and eating.
Instead we imagine a world where wheat didn’t exist.
So we’re not trying to mimic something that’s become problematic but instead imagine something entirely new.
